Centre Asks Scientists To Develop Organic Agriculture Technology

Shillong: The central government has been called upon agricultural scientists to organic agriculture in the North East to develop the technology and resources.

Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh in this regard, Central Agricultural University and the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) scientists met.

“To empower unemployed rural youth, university 6 vocational training centers and six multi-technology testing centers are planned,” Mr Singh said and hoped these centers to the rural youth employment generators rather than employment seekers make will.

The minister also said the government’s ‘My Village My Pride’ to participate in the plan emphasized the role of the Central Agricultural University scientists.

Efforts by the Central Agricultural University soil health cards to farmers in 2500 to develop and distribute enough, Mr Singh said and expressed the hope that these efforts will continue and in the future would be beneficial to farmers.
